Born In Assis, Brazil; Graduated in Law by the University of São Paulo Law School in 1995. Master's Degree in Law from the same university in 2001 with top marks and distinction. He studied Business Administration at the University of Delaware, completed in 1999. He attended the Executive MBA program at the Institute for Management Development (IMD), in Lausanne, Switzerland, concluded in 2006. He is a lawyer with large international experience focused on business structuring, taxes, and mergers and acquisitions. He began his career in large global law firm, with offices in Brazil. He directed an American multinational corporation (Fortune top 50) in the areas of legal, structuring, tax, and mergers and acquisitions. He worked in Wilmington, Delaware, USA, and Geneva, Switzerland, where he was responsible, until 2007, for the areas of taxation, mergers and acquisitions and new business for Europe, Middle East and Africa. He has several articles published in Brazil and abroad. Among his most important performances, the highlight was the advice (i) at the structuring of the sale to BMS of Dupont Pharma - pharmaceutical industry - for $ 8 billion, (ii) the structuring and sale of Invista to Koch group - industry – for $ 4 billion, (iii) the purchase of a biotechnology company for $2 billion and (iv) at adia’s 2008 debt restructuring of finances, a Brazilian company leader in the food sector, he provided leadership in its association with Perdigão to form the BrF.
